Crearte
A bold, gallery-first bilingual site for a muralist and art therapist — built to let the work speak and turn attention into commissioned projects.

The challenge
Khalef Aguilart's work is vivid, large-scale and unmistakable — but online it lived scattered across social feeds, with no real home and no clear way to commission a piece. The art deserved a stage as bold as the murals themselves, in both Spanish and English, without losing the soul of the work.
The goal: a site that feels like walking up to a finished wall — striking on first sight, with an obvious way to start a conversation.
Discovery
We started by separating the two sides of Khalef's practice — large-format murals and art therapy — and mapping who comes looking for each. From there we defined a simple journey: arrive, feel the work, understand what's possible, and reach out to commission.
Design direction
The design leans into colour and scale. A deep, confident palette lets the murals pop, with generous full-bleed imagery and a refined serif that gives the brand gravity. Bold statements ("Un mural no decora. Declara.") set the tone without clutter.
Every layout decision protects the art: the work is always the hero, the interface stays quiet around it.
User experience
Clear sections separate murals, art therapy and portfolio, each with a calm, friendly path to enquire. WhatsApp is a first-class action — the way clients in the region actually reach out — alongside a simple proposal request. The whole experience is fast and mobile-first.
SEO considerations
The site is bilingual by design, with descriptive titles and alt text on every piece, structured data for the creative work and business, and pages targeting how people search locally — by medium, by space, and by city across Puerto Vallarta, Bucerías and Bahía de Banderas.
Combined with image optimisation for fast loads, it gives the brand a search-ready foundation that grows with each new project added.
The final result
Crearte now has a home that matches the ambition of the work: bold, bilingual, and built to convert admiration into commissions. The murals lead, the path to enquire is effortless, and the site is structured to be found by the people most likely to want a piece of their own.
Work that clients are glad they invested in.
"They understood my business before touching the design. The site finally matches the quality of the work I actually do."
"Clear, fast, and built around how my clients really search. Enquiries started coming through the site within weeks."
"Gian made the whole thing simple — I sent the work and got back a site I'm proud to share."
